![]() ![]() Some flashback chapters would have been a great addition to this. Knowing how a normal day with them was would have been super helpful. It made the book super interesting, instead of making it seem like the only people in the world were Vanessa and Aiden.Īlthough it was mentioned quite a bit, I do wish we could have gotten more flashbacks to Vanessa’s past (or Aiden’s both would’ve been super cool.) She mentioned a few of the incidents with Susie and all her other sisters (which were specific and in detail), but the rest of the story was blurry. There was Vanessa’s past, (view spoiler), Aiden’s past, Zac (and the marathon!) along with more. ![]() I also like how Zapata was able to incorporate so many different topics and sub-plots into this book. ![]() I do think the characters do balance each other well, which made the relationship seem more legitimate. He was a softie at the end, but I didn’t particularly like him. She knew what she wanted, and she was gonna go get it. She was so well rounded, and probably one of my favorite characters of all time? She was sweet, and ambitious at the same time. This was… pretty fricken good (trying not to cuss as much lately, it’s not really working…) If you haven’t read the book, you might not know what I’m talking about, but I wouldn’t consider anything in the review as a ‘spoiler’ ![]() *please keep in mind that I will be talking about the plot and characters in the review. ![]()
